About Us

At Multilingual Promise we are motivated by a vision of every child thriving as a confident multilingual learner, supported by educators who understand the building blocks of language and have the expertise to facilitate learning effectively.

Our approach builds on the science that shows children's sound development of their home language accelerates English acquisition, produces superior cognitive benefits, and creates optimal conditions for reading success by third grade and beyond.

Our Core Philosophy: Every teacher can and must effectively support multilingual learners to ensure they master English while maintaining the language of their heart—their family's language nest where meaningful interactions flourish. We believe children need to be seen and valued for healthy, positive learning and development, and the science is clear: children's home languages are cognitive assets that enhance English development and lead to superior outcomes.

Professional Learning That Works: We believe in transformative adult learning that goes far beyond sharing concepts and resources. We train educators to effectively engage while teaching language and literacy through intensive practice, ongoing feedback, and documentation to ensure effective teaching. We complete the full cycle by collecting data that shows children perform at or above grade level in third and fourth grade—all done in collaboration with families as essential partners.

Innovation Through Technology: We know that e-learning using AI study platforms and practice tech features provide innovative and effective ways to be efficient and fully realize the objectives of our trainings. These tools enhance learning outcomes while making professional development more accessible and impactful for educators.

The Results Speak: Children develop strong language and reading skills positioning them for academic and life success. Educators gain the expertise to implement targeted instructional strategies that build both language comprehension and literacy skills grounded in the science of reading. Students progress from words to phrases and sentences as natural communicators while simultaneously developing foundational reading abilities. Families become active partners, contributing their knowledge to support their children's multilingual journey.
